All you need to know about organised local firework displays around the Ipswich and South Suffolk area.

2nd November – Ipswich
Family firework night to raise money for St Alban’s High School. Affordable ticket prices and hot food and drinks. Free parking on school grounds, games for all ages, sweet treats for the kids. Call the school office for tickets on 01473 726178. Doors open at 6pm (not too late for the children) Fireworks at 7.15pm to music. Prices on the night £5 adult, £4 child, £20 family (2 adults and up to 5 children). St Alban’s High School Digby Road, Ipswich

2nd November
H Sproughton H
Huge bonfire and great fireworks at Sproughton Millennium Green, Lower Street. Entrance is by donation of £6/adult and £3/child (under 4’s free) Excellent BBQ selling reasonably priced food. This is a popular family event attracting 2,600 last year. Car parking available at the school in Church Lane (if not too wet) – only £1/car or car parking in village. Limited disabled parking is available on the Green – please report to the steward on duty at the gate. No other gimmicks for the children to nag for! This event will go-ahead, even in the rain! Card payments accepted at entrance gate and BBQ.
7pm BBQ, 7.15pm Bonfire, 8pm Fireworks.


2nd November – Hadleigh

Hadleigh’s biggest Fireworks Display run by Hadleigh United Football Club for the local Community. Fireworks start at 7.45pm Advance Tickets on night Adults £5. Under 16’s £4. Under 5 Free Admission, The Millfield, Tinkers Lane Haleigh,

3rd November – Ipswich
Fantastic night of fireworks and family entertainment in store at regions biggest Guy Fawkes event! Organisers of East Anglia’s premier musical fireworks display are pleased to announce details of their 47th fireworks spectacular in Christchurch Park, Ipswich. East Anglia’s premier party band ‘Soul Kitchen’ will get the party started and ‘11:11 Entertainments Fire Performers’ will mesmerise spectators with their awe-inspiring fire dance routines. The main feature will be a sensational musical fireworks display brought to you by ‘Alchemy Fireworks’, accompanied by a chart-topping mega mix soundtrack. There’ll be all the fun of the fair, catering stalls, a bar, roaring bonfire and more family-friendly entertainment. Tickets can be purchased online from www.ipswichfireworks.com and from all East of England Coop stores within Ipswich and surrounding areas, as well as many other convenient locations in and around Ipswich as listed on the Ipswich Fireworks website. Gates open at 6pm with fireworks at 8:00pm and family fun through to 10pm.

3rd November – Stowmarket
A spectacular firework display, roaring bonfire and family amusements will be staged in the grounds of the Museum of East Anglian Life, Stowmarket. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm to keep everyone toasty ahead of the firework display which starts at 7.30pm. On the night tickets are available at a cost of Adult £6, Child £4 (no family ticket available on the night). Gates open from 6pm

4th November – Felixstowe
It is one of the biggest nights in Felixstowe’s events calendar and this year the 11th annual Felixstowe Firework Spectacular is back with a bang, and is bigger than ever before! The 20-minute professional display will be fired to music once again. As well as the display, the event will feature a fun fair, sideshows, the FireFlow fire entertainers, Night Flight Aerial drone display team and a food village featuring a wide selection of fabulous food. Over the years, thousands of pounds has been raised for local charities and this year the event organised by Felixstowe & Walton United FC will benefit the community sports hub at Dellwood Avenue as well as providing the Town of Felixstowe with a major public firework display of its own to be proud of.

4th November – Mendlesham
Why not come to Mendlesham playing field in Station Road, Mendlesham, IP14 5RT on Sunday 4th November for a stunning Firework Display to Music provided by Thunderburst Entertainment.  6pm for 6.30pm start. Hot food, hot and cold drinks. Adults £4, Under 16’s £2. The event is put on by Mendlesham Community Council which is a registered charity.
